  • WasteExpo Partners with Wastequip and the Las Vegas Convention Center to Implement a Three-Bin Waste Stream System Including Compost, Recycling and Landfill

  • Partnered with GES to collect leftover conference and booth materials to donate to local nonprofits

  • Reduce paper consumption by offering a mobile application instead of a printed program

  • Removal of carpeting from the exhibition floor aisles of the WasteExpo exhibition hall

  • 100% use of LED technology for custom stand construction

  • The event will be powered by 100% renewable electricity

  • Discounts for the Las Vegas Monorail, which connects the Las Vegas Convention Center with six additional stations along Las Vegas Boulevard.

  • Reusing food waste to create a zero-waste lunch for WasteExpo’s food recovery forum

  • Educating the industry on food waste prevention and recovery as part of the Waste360 Food Recovery Forum

  • Create the Waste360 Sustainability Discussions to openly discuss the most pressing environmental concerns around waste, recycling and organics.

  • Offer a plant-based menu for the Sustainability Talks event

  • Reducing the use of single-use plastic at the Sustainability Talks event

WasteExpo created Waste360 sustainability debates, a co-located event focused solely on sustainability. The one-day event will take place on May 11.
