Muscat: The Oman Convention and Exhibition Center will host more than 50 major events in the last quarter of this year.

Engineer Saeed Al Shanfari, CEO of Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, said: “The last quarter of 2022 will be an eventful season in which more than fifty functions will be held, which means that more than 300,000 people will attend.

In an interview with the Oman News Agency, he added: “Among the events are the Oman Tourism Forum on September 27-28, which attracts over 300 representatives from the Oman tourism sector, and Middle East ISEF award for the year 2022 on the 29th of the same month to honor organizations that provide training programs.It is world class and the center is expected to host over 1,000 attendees at this event.

Other events are the Oman Food Exhibition, which serves the most important sectors of the food industry and the hospitality world, including local produce and global imports, and the Oman International Health Conference and Exhibition September 26-28.

In October, Al Shanfari said the center would launch a season of events and festivals focusing on science, technology, innovation and other fields, as well as agriculture and fresh produce, and a parade of fashion.
