Shelter up or down, shelter fixed or opening, the possibilities are manifold when it comes to choosing a shelter of swimming pool.
Depending on your budget and the dimensions of your shelter, you can opt for
– a high shelter (between 1,90m and 3m which leaves you a space to circulate around the swimming pool)
– a semi-high shelter (maximum 1,80m, can be raised)
– a low shelter (keeps the heat and will allow you to extend your bathing period up to 4 months)
– a bi-body shelter (raised at the access to the pool but very expensive)
Concerning the mobility of your shelter, here again the choices are very varied and the prices can vary a lot. A fixed shelter will cost you between € 9,000 and € 45,000 depending on the size of your pool and the materials chosen while an opening shelter will cost you between € 2,000 and € 6,000. The latter comes in different models: inflatable, telescopic, removable, sliding, folding, liftable, semi-sliding, greenhouse. You will also have a large choice of materials that you will have to choose according to your environment and the design of your exterior.
Before you start building your pool enclosure, check any standards and regulations that may affect your choice. Please especially that the safety of your pond is in accordance with the law n ° 2003-9 of January 3rd, 2003. To be assured that your swimming pool shelter is at the standards, do it preferably to install by a professional at the same time as the installation of your pool.
